Monitoring and alerts are part of Managed OIE. We continuously monitor the health of the OIE instances we host and raise alerts in the portal when something needs attention.
The health of a production instance changes constantly, and keeping track of it is a standing job. Managed OIE handles it as standard.
What we watch
Resource health on your production instances: the signals that tell us an instance is under pressure, has restarted, or has stopped behaving the way it should.
You don't have to configure any of it. Monitoring comes with the instance, and it starts the moment the instance is provisioned.
What you see
Alerts surface in the portal, graded by severity, alongside the instance they relate to. Critical, warning, and informational alerts are kept apart, so a real outage doesn't sit in the same list as a brief blip that resolved itself.
